I cast my work with Laran Bronze in Chester, PA.

I collaborate extensively with the experts there throughout the process to ensure the quality of the work. I personally chase the wax and bronze and supervise all of the other activities required.

By a rather striking coincidence, Laran possesses a Churchill connection: it is located in the old pattern shop of the Sun Shipbuilding Yards in Chester, Pennsylvania.

Sun built several Lend-Lease vessels. The SS Ohio achieved fame during “Operation Pedestal” for the defense of Malta. Lots of information is available about it Sir Winston was extremely interested in its success.

Sun also built the SS Seatrain Texas as well. Codenamed “Treasure Ship” by the British, she sailed alone from New York to Suez to deliver the Sherman tanks that became a decisive factor in the battle of El Alamein.
